Two flats made into a duplex. A new hairpin staircase with a 1960s twist. Simple, sleek and understated, with lots of built-in storage, a professional kitchen and a few doors that play hide and seek.
Brussels Sablon area, a redecoration of a duplex that had been created in the early 1990s out of two floors in an old apartment building. We changed the internal flow, opened up the kitchen, built in lots of bookcases, raised a ceiling and added a simple cornicing. Downstairs the parquet is in a light finish, upstairs the old pine floorboards were stained charcoal.
