PORTFOLIO > INSIDE STORIES > ZINGY
Brussels downtown, an expansive flat, on several levels, with higgledy-piggledy steps and stairs and an unwelcoming entrance, was reworked into a colourful library apartment in oranges, pinks, light blues and greens. The kitchen was made to measure and the panoramic wallpaper provides a great backdrop for the dining table.

Colours can be bright or subdued, or even better, a combination of both. I don’t often paint entire walls in one colour. I prefer to work with panels where colours slip from one wall onto another, or forms on a wall. It’s easier on the eye. These four photos are of four different projects, one in Amsterdam, three in Brussels.
